[Foam-rangers] BTW, How'd we do???

Why would anyone fix a homebrew competition? Just because their beers don’t win the only plausible explanation is that someone else has to be cheating?
Cheers,
Sean

Scott, bottom line is their clubs do not trust the Foam Rangers.
They openly think Foam Rangers rig the contest because their beers medal at Bluebonnet but do not at Dixie Cup.
In speaking to one disturbed NTHBA member, who attended the Dixie Cup, James Dorman (sp?), he says they think we FR "fix" the Dixie Cup.
He said this at the Mead/Cider BOS table while Bev Blackwood was also present with me.
He obviously does not know NTHBA won the Dixie Cup many times in the past.
This is the same person who was overheard saying "fuck him" (directed towards Dave) during the toast Kyle gave for Dave Cato.
I had a run in with Dorman during the BOS judging for Mead/Cider.
IMO, this is one irrational buffoon I will not judge with nor allow into any Foam Ranger private event or meeting ever again.
Not only did he show utter disrespect towards the late Dave Cato, his bogus accusations against the Dixie Cup and Foam Rangers are ludicrous.
As someone who has previously run the Dixie Cup, and participated in so many levels of it since 1994, I took offense to Dorman's accusations.
No doubt, in my opinion, he seems to want to be the catalyst to touch off another homebrew war with NTHBA like we had back in 1999.
It is idiots like him that take away from the fun hobby we all enjoy so much.
regards,
Jimmy Paige

OK, somebody remind me again, why we enter and attend the Bluebonnet? Is it even close to as much fun as the Dixie Cup? I don't think so. . . Fifteen entries from the NTHBA? Five from Cap & Hare? Zero from the Knights of the Brown Bottle? Zero attendees? Why bother? We received more entries from the Texas Carboys. Better to support the Cactus Challenge or the Cerveza Cup.

Umm… I saw a pretty complete list. Looked like 40-45 ribbons won by the Foam Rangers.

I suspect they're still having to work out kinks with this new software. In times past with Cato 's later revisions, as soon as the awards were given and wrapped up, they were uploaded.
Sent via fat fingers on a mobile device, your understanding is appreciated.

Thanks David,
I didn't see any thing on the site and the Facebook page was devoid of any info. Probably too soon after DC to post as I am certain there were some serious hangovers to contend with.
Cheers to you
