 I notice in the email, they have set a deadline of October 30 for us to have enough members join to get the reimbursement.

Doak and I are members, and we have gotten the price of our membership back in the discounts we get at the flying saucer.  Many restaurants/bars offer AHA discounts.  Please join if you haven't, it will save both you and the club money

For those of you who are not aware of the benefits, AHA membership can reduce your bills when hitting up local brewpubs.  There is a discount offered at participating places for AHA members.  
You can use the AHA app on your phone, BrewGuru, as a membership card.
AHA membership also covers an annual subscription to Zymurgy.
It covers free admission at annual AHA member rallies (held at various breweries), good for a couple beers and a not totally lame raffle.
It also allows you access to the recipe DB on the AHA website, I have used a couple of them, its where I got the Alpha King (pale ale) recipe I have medalled with.

Hello again!

I am following up the email I sent out yesterday regarding your AHA Club Insurance being reimbursable by the AHA. Sincere apologies - I made an error in our new system’s Club Affiliates report and counted ALL members associated with Foam Rangers Homebrew Club rather than all ACTIVE AHA members associated. 

You currently have 46 total members affiliating with Foam Rangers Homebrew Club in the AHA database, but only28 of those have active, up-to-date AHA Memberships. That means you have 70% of the 40 members you reported to West Insurance and therefore, we unfortunately cannot reimburse your club insurance cost for this enrollment period.

I have extended the deadline for folks to activate or affiliate their AHA memberships with your club through 10/30/2022, which means there is still time to increase that number to 75% and get your reimbursement check!

If you’d like a list of those affiliated members, reply to this email and I will send it over ASAP.
