[Foam-rangers] Houston Public Radio Fundraising

Foam Rangers,

Houston Public Radio and Saint Arnold are asking for our help.  The Houston
Public Radio (KUHF/KUHA) fundraising drive has kicked off and is in full
swing.  On Tuesday, from 4-7 PM, Saint Arnold is hosting and "sponsoring"
the phone drive.  They have a good number of open seats and were wondering
if any of us would like to come and help out.

I've done it many time, and it's both easy and fun.  You do a few minutes
of training, and then sit in front of laptop, talk to those making pledges,
and take their information.  Everything is right in front of you.  They
feed you dinner, and Saint Arnold buys you a couple of beers at the
downtown Saucer afterwards.

If you can't make it the whole time, that's fine.  Things are fairly slow
between 4 and 5, anyhow.

If you can make it, email lennie at saintarnold.com and let him know.  Then,
just show up at the Melcher Center at U of H, sign in at the desk, and do
